The Coordinators of the Danube Region Strategy’s Priority Areas (PACs) are expected to submit an Annual Progress Report to the Directorate-General for Regional Policy of the European Commission on the progress made regarding the implementation of the targets and actions of the Strategy.

The Joint Technical Secretariat for the Strategy’s Priority Area 1a on inland waterways (PA 1a, coordinated by Austria and Romania) had drafted such a Progress Report which has been submitted to and approved by the members of the Steering Group of PA 1a entitled to vote, i.e. the representatives of the 14 Danube countries. The approved Report was sent to the European Commission in due time.

  • Process: governance (PACs, Steeering Group, stakeholders); changes in work/network approach resulting from the Strategy
