UPDATE OF THE NATIONAL ACTION PLANS

 

The first set of National Action Plans (called Roadmaps by then) has been elaborated in line with the ministerial conclusions of 3rd December 2014 by which the Fairway Rehabilitation and Maintenance Master Plan was endorsed.

In regular updates the status of critical locations, hydrological conditions, rehabilitation and maintenance activities and cost of the last year are reported in a harmonized way for the whole Danube. In addition an outlook on planned investments, operational budgets is included. The analysis of financing gaps is crucial to support improvements.

Whereas the first version was based upon the initiative of the Technical Secretariat for PA1a and the Danube Region Strategy, the follow-up versions are produced within the framework of the CEF-financed FAIRway Danube. Updates are planned twice a year, in May and October.
