SAVE THE DATE: 16 – 17 April 2013, Linz, Austria

This is to inform you that the fourth Working Group meeting of PA 1a “Inland Waterways” will take place in Linz (Austria) on the 16th and 17th of April 2013. We will start on the 16th of April in the early afternoon; in the evening, a common networking buffet will be organised. On the second day (17th of April), the meeting will close at around noon.

Please be so kind as to reserve this date in your calender. The event is open to all interested parties and participation is free of charge. The agenda as well as detailed information on this event (registration procedure, venue, suggestions for hotels etc.) will be sent out in due time.

On the 18th of April 2013, starting from 1:00 p.m., the Donau Symposium 2013 organised by PRO Danube AUSTRIA will take place at the voestalpine Stahlwelt in Linz. You are also kindly invited to attend this event. We will send out details on the symposium together with information on the fourth meeting of the Working Groups.

Background: Thematic Working Groups were established by the Priority Coordinators together with the Steering Group of EUSDR’s Priority Area 1a in order to coordinate and discuss existing and proposed projects and initiatives which are in line with the objectives set for the Priority Area on inland waterways of the Strategy. Working Groups will get together twice a year and specifically invite the involvement of the private sector, experts and NGOs.
