Until 2019 the activities of the Priority Area Coordinators will be funded under the Danube Transnational Programme. To mark this fresh start and to inform the PA1a Steering Group about the numerous ongoing projects related to waterborne transport, the official kick-off event for the period 2017-2019 was held back to back with the 12th PA1a Steering Group meeting.

32 members of the Steering Group participated in the event.
