National project (RO) The project was necessary for connecting the Constanţa Port to the Bucharest–Constanţa highway (A2), establishing a direct link between the Northern and the Southern part of the Constanta Port.

Transnational project (NL, UK, FR, SE, DE, AT, HU, RO) The project aimed at the modernisation of existing inland ships applying state-of-the-art knowledge and technology transfer from other transport modes.

Transnational project (DE, AT, RS, RO) The project supported the further development of innovative vessels and technology solutions for reducing the environmental impact of Danube navigation.

Transnational project (AT, SK, HU, HR, RS, RO, BG) WANDA aimed at establishing a sustainable, environmentally sound and transnationally coordinated approach in ship waste management along the Danube by (1) elaborating national ship waste management concepts, (2) implementing pilot actions and (3) developing a financing model for the operating system based on the polluter-pays principle.

Transnational project (AT, SK, HU, HR, RS, RO, BG, MD, UA) Based on the findings of the WANDA project, the main focus of CO-WANDA was on initiative work for a binding treaty, which shall provide clear guidelines for ship waste management along the Danube.

National project (AT) The project constituted of a feasibility study on the sustainable reduction of CO2 emissions as well as particle and NO2 emissions by using LNG (liquefied methane and bio methane) for Danube navigation.

national project (HR) The project entailed the procurement and installation of proper RIS and Voice VHF systems, in order to implement River Information Services on the Sava River.

Transnational project (NL, DE, BE, LU, FR, CZ, AT, SK, HU, SL, HR, RS, RO) Main intention of the project is to realise so-called Corridor RIS Services for authorities and logistics users within inland navigation and to transfer those Corridor Services into sustainable operation.

Transnational project (GR, NL, NO, BE, DE, AT, SK, HR, RS, RO) RISING had the overall objective of identifying, integrating and further developing information services such as River Information Services (RIS) in order to efficiently support Inland Waterway Transport (IWT) and logistics operations.

National project (HR) Currently there is no connection between the Sava and the Danube rivers, except through the mouth of the Sava river near Belgrade, which considerably extends the navigation route from the Sava basin to Western Europe.
